All animals sold from Solar Flare Farm are disbudded, tattooed, have recent hoof trims and are understood to be healthy by the seller prior to leaving. If the buyer desires a pre-purchase exam to be performed by a licensed veterinarian, the buyer may have one at Solar Flare Farm at buyers expense prior to the date of sale. Because we can’t control the environment after they leave, the new owner(s) are souly responsible of the animal once the animal leaves the property. The seller is not responsible if the animal should become injured, ill or die after leaving Solar Flare Farm. All kids are started on a coccidia preventative starting at 3 weeks of age and continues at 6 and 8/9 weeks to ensure they have the best start in life.
Kids are dam raised (may try hybrid in 2026 as we did have success with a few this past year). Weaning age is 8-10 weeks for doelings and wethers. We do not sell bucks at this time. We require a 50% deposit to hold your animal until weaning age. If you do not pickup animal within two weeks of weaning age you will forfeit your deposit and the animal will be available again.
Price varies on pedigrees and dam/sires accomplishments. Prices also vary as we are working with a colorful herd (that just happened that way), and polled (naturally hornless) genetics. Doelings unregistered $200, registered $250-$450. Wethers $75-$150 pending color. Discounts to 4-H, FFA, preformance and multiples. We will send you home with a paper application for registration or we will register them online once kid(s) are paid in full depending on preference.
