Here at Solar Flare Farm we take great pride in the health and hardiness in our herd.
We assure these measures by blood testing our herd annually. Clean tested herd from CAE, CL and Johnes as of June, 2024. We raise our herd holistically and support their health by providing them with the highest quality of hay, minerals and personalize our own feed mix from our local mill. They have a pasture they enjoy eating planted specifically for goats from Nature Seed and during special seasons they get pumpkin and pine trees. We use herbal dewormers and fecals are checked twice a year through our veterinarian and goats are treated accordingly if needed per veterinarian recommendations. All kids are started on a coccidia preventative starting at 3 weeks of age.
